These are very attractive restorations. The "Schwinn" decal and the "Le Tour" smaller decal are both damaged. Since the actual finish is good I don't want to think about re-painting and would just leave the decals except that they seem to be actually flaking off. Any suggestions? Having gotten the bike for no cost I don't want to ruin everything by spending a bundle on replacement parts. I would like to make everything clean, lubricated and polished because it does seem to be a quality bike and worthy of some time and effort.
