Crazy tailwind... is drafting still useful?

So I'm going to be in a race tomorrow (Paris to Ancaster), which is a 60 km point to point, mostly on gravel, most will be riding cyclocross bikes.

The forecast is for a 40km/h tailwind, which got me wondering, how much of a tailwind does it take before there's no point in drafting? In fact, if the tailwind was strong enough, I wonder if 'drafting' would be disadvantageous... as in, people behind you are actually blocking your wind.

Thoughts?
