That pretty much sums it up. The chart shows NYC, Atlanta, Richmond, Asheville and all of South Carolina as being in the same isobar. I can tell you categorically that the weather is way nicer in SC than in NYC, with ATL and Asheville falling in between.
I haven't figured out what the problem with their method is yet, but it clearly falls short of its intended purpose.
