Heck yes, I use a mirror constantly during my commute. I use a handlebar mounted mirror. This one. I feel it is a huge safety benefit. I tried a helmet mirror but could not train my eyes to adapt to it. I wear progressive lenses. You may like a helmet mirror. The only way to find out is to try one.
