For my favorite dish I like to cook an instant, spicy, Korean ramen. This stuff is not the crappy Cup O Noodle junk; it's also not a proper ramen either but your camping right?

I like to add some cured meat, dried ****aki (sp?) mushrooms, maybe some sesame oil, soy, shriracha (again sp?), etc. I put the oils and spice in little 1 oz Nalgene travel bottles. The dish has tons of flavor, carbs, and sodium (like over 1,000mg).
For breakfast I get an instant oatmeal from Trader Joes (looking for instant oatmeal with just a few ingredients and none of that crap they like to add to oatmeal these days to make it "healthy" and "better for you"). I add some honey and dried fruit.
As you can see I use my stove to make highly complex, multi-course meals, requiring exacting skills with the camp stove to boil water.

I've been backpacking since childhood and at the end of a long day I just want to eat. I've found ways to make really basic food taste pretty tasty and will call it good at that.
