Had Look Keos, went to Speedplay Zeros and then went back to the Keos. I think they are better.

I ride in a rural areas. The problem with the Speedplays is that you need to lube (slightly) the cleat on the shoe. If you get off your bike on the shoulder where, for me, it's usually soft and sandy, you gum up the cleat. So I'm back to Keos and I just think they work better.

If Garmin ever comes out with the power meter sensor inside the Speedplay pedals, I'll look at them again.
