I picked up this 1980 Schwinn Tri-Wheeler yesterday. The guy said he bought it new in 1980 and the Pedal Power unit was installed by the Schwinn Dealer. I can't seem to find any info on the net about this unit and if it really was an "option". I know it works because I hooked it up to the battery charger and it will certainly pull the bike. Any experience with these things and what kind of battery can I use?
