If there is braze ons on the downtube you also need http://store.velo-orange.com/index.p...-adjuster.html
Oh man I did! I was just oogling them today, wondering how long it will be before I can justify buying them. I need to take a break from investing in this bike for a bit. I'm afraid a shifter upgrade will have to wait behind tires. I really don't mind the stem shifter on my Schwinn so I think I'll keep these for a bit.

1. Measure the bridge opening, see if you can find a riv-nut that will fit in it. This will provide threaded opening towards the fender.
2. Locate a recessed brake mounting nut for a rear sidepull caliper. They are shallow enough as they are meant to fit inside a seatstay bridge. Ream the chainstay bridge hole to fit it.
I'll definitely look into those. Thanks! The zip tie seems to be staying for now at least.

And thank you Fast Cloud! I wasn't sure how the gold/silver combo would look, but I'm really diggin it!
