I found the pre-glued patches to be a waste of money. They might be ok to get you home, but never seem to last. The vulcanized patch kit works great. I have some tubes with three patches and the tubes seem to maintian pressure just like they were new. I test my repairs by mounting the tube on a spare wheel and inflate the tire about 10 PSI higher than I ride on. I check the pressure the next day. I have done the inflate and hang and it seems to work as well. Good luck
