My advice...? BE THANKFUL to the high bidder! Who cares if he "pulls out" at the end? By then your price on those SSCs will be amazingly high. If he pays, GREAT! If he doesn't pay, he gets a "strike" against him on eBay, and you're not stuck with final value fees. You then wait a couple of weeks, and list "another" set of those beautiful SSC rims... WIN/WIN. I'd love to have people bidding my auctions up, for whatever motive. It's great advertising, and helps with future sales.

Obviously, one fellow knows or think he knows the other bidder. There is a roundabout way to expose a bidder by feedback, but it is not perfect.
