I bought my first pair of Paselas a short time ago. I bought the 27x1's when they were on super-sale, and was initially concerned that would be too skinny and slip-off the nearly beadless and wide 27" rims I put them on. My concerns were unfounded. My impression was that these 1" tires are comparable to a 28c. Overall, I was impressed with their ride and quality for the money. I would buy them again.
