i thought that it would be more of a simple 'get the miles in' sort of thing, but, to be honest, after over 400 miles on this thing, i'm still every bit as sloppy as i was when i got the pedals.
i had speedplay zeros on it before -- which was great because they were dual sided. however, they caused me no small amout of grief (crazy hotspots), so i traded them in for ultegras. the ultegras are perfect from a comfort perspective, but a pita on the click in side.
The Crank Brothers quattro pedals seem like a good alternative. Good size platform and double sided.
I know you can use regular CB cleats with them, but there is also a special road cleat too for them. Unfortunately the CB website has no info on what this road cleat looks like.
