I got my hands on a free (fixed gear) wheel, mostly so that I could dick around with wheelbuilding (practicing taking it apart and putting it back together). I figured that, as long as I have it, I might as well throw it on a project bike that I have sitting around and have a useable single speed fixed gear bike in the meantime (I'm eventually going to build a different, much nicer rear wheel for the bike).
The problem is, the hub is missing the axle, and I'm sure a few other bits and pieces that I'll need in order to install it (see picture). What exactly do I need here? Just an axle and some bolts? Hubs are one component that I have virtually no experience with (and I'm eager to learn)
As I mentioned, it's a fixed gear hub (a Surly--no model number, but it looks like a really dirty version of this:

Thanks in advance!
