Nerve damage in my back affects my ability to stand and walk as some muscles just don't work like they used to but these are muscles that are not utilized when you are riding unless you decide to stand up and hammer it.
Have found that cycling offers more pain relief than any of the mind numbing medications and have been riding 20-40 km a day of late and am looking forward to the weekend when I plan to spend about 4 hours riding to see my family for Easter.
