Occasionally people make mistakes and forget something ... but setting off on a group ride hoping that someone else has a pump you could borrow is not smart. When you get dropped or lost, and you're miles from nowhere with a flat and no one around ... what will you do then?
Either walk, or call the wife to come get me. Okinawa is a small Island, and there are military bases everywhere.. so if that where to happen, I would call my wife to come get me. But I highly doubt that I would be left hanging.. us in the military have a thing about that.. especially in a foreign country.
