thanks for the input - i should add too with the new FW though not all gears were smooth - i guess it was used and worn in with another chain so the transition to this one presented a problem in 3rd gear - the gear i ride mostly worked fine - i still found it a little noisy in the rear though - i am wondering if something is up with the hub - when i spin it in my hand sans FW off the bike it is very smooth - with the FW its noisy - mind you the first FW gave me almost constant drive crunchy noise the other day and today i was listening hard over 30 miles and while it got a little noisy at times for the most part it was smooth on flats and climbs

edit: as far as 'relubing the freewheel' - i mean you really cant unless you pull it apart am i right - do i need to dunk it in some light weight oil - does that really do anything substantial - or is it enough to just lubricate the chain and run it through thoroughly
