Just went to a LBS where a sales guy really tried to sell me a Specialized Allez Sport over a LeMond Reno citing how the aluminum used for the Reno ("LeMond 6066 fully butted Aluminum Performance") was shoddy compared to the Allez Sport ("A1 Premium Aluminum, fully double-butted, heat-treated, replaceable derailleur hanger"). I left the store rather quickly because I was really uncomfortable with his sales tactics, but is there anything to what he says about one being significantly better than the other?
