Yeah, seconded. I did the Mendo Monster ride last year, enjoyed it quite a bit. Masonite was hard-packed dirt and rocks and some pavement with a good view, but frankly I've seen better and the loss of it is not so huge. Probably fewer flats now. They did a pretty good job on it, requests I had were to add Mtn Dew near the later rest stops and some hammer products if possible. The first year is always a learning experience and they did a GREAT job for first timers, much better than other organized rides I've been on and cheaper, too.
Scoldini, if you get Mtn Dew and Hammer products I think there will be more happy riders at the end.
