But every gel chamois I've ever seen, (I tried them in the past), stupidly makes the *entire* chamois gel.
The result is that the gel bulges up against your soft parts, creating pressure where there should be none, and causing chafing where there would have been none w/o the gel.

So, in general, a gel chamois is garbage.
