In general, how much height difference between fork styles?

After more searching, I've determined my bike does fit me well and I'm going to make a few cheap upgrades. Say I replace my ridged fork with a 100mm fork. I know all forks are different, but in general. I would think it would raise the bike a little more than 100mm?

If I raise the front of my bike 100mm it puts me at a 68* head tube angle. A little slack, but acceptable? There's a Rock Shox Judy J1 for really cheap locally that I was thinking of grabbing just to see if I'd prefer front suspension or staying ridged. But, I don't know if it would be worth it if the geometry of the bike were affected too much and my bike didn't handle decently.
