Last night, after getting myself organised for this morning's commute I decided to weigh my bike. In non-commute trim she comes in at 33lb and with my commute load onboard she's a chubby 53lb, yep, 53 pounds. No wonder I'm barely averaging 16mph
She's a bit of a porker, but I do love her so

I modified my route this morning to avoid a couple of stretches of busy highway that I never enjoyed... it made a world of difference to my peace of mind for the same milage. Life is good
