That being said, based on the build quality on some nottingham bikes, the thought of a carbon frame made by their 'craftsmen' is indeed terrifying.
Yet the steel bikes they made were just fine for the most part -although with some cruddy paint, the occasional sloppy lugwork, and a few cheap components.
Steel has a lot more "fudge" in it.
