As a daily rider, as the OP says, there is no reason not to go CV and a good reason not to go with a CF frame. I'm imagining a daily rider might get locked up outside? Steel will take the abuse of bumps and smacks alot better than fragile CF. Plus the bright colors and graphics of a CF bike says STEAL ME all over it.
