I've walked up many hills. Fewer in recent years, because nowadays I have a good granny gear. But often I find that because I have so many gears to get through on the way to the granny gear (stupid 27 gears), I don't have time to change into it before I'm already on the hill.

Why do we need 27 gears anyway? Wasn't ten enough?
