Chris - Good write up. Bummer it came down to only 3k. I've come to the realization that I would rather get crushed while making good decisions than winning while making poor ones. 4th felt like an undeserved gift but I'm starting to realize that I did enough right that I might have earned it.

What I did right at DT...
* Went to the very front and drilled it out of every cone (Cones were the only points where our race had real splits)
* Gathered a small group to hammer a few south-facing rollers (Didn't get separation but did gap some riders)
* Stayed at the front the whole race ready to go if anything materialized
* Moved up within the pack by filling gaps (greatly improved this skill after a recently read CDR post)
* Never let myself stay boxed in (I even made two dirt passes when I needed to get to an action spot...one was made to thwart a four man rolling road block while one of the blocking team's riders attempted to get away)

What I did wrong...
* Forgot to sprint (WTF!?)
* Suckered myself into a solo break at a moment in which I didn't have the mental resolve to dig deep
