You should be able to get your deductible back if it was stolen on base while you were on duty. I got my car insurance deductible back when Hurricane Hugo totalled my car that was left on Charleston Naval Base while we were underway avoiding the hurricane.
Was that a claim the government paid or your insurance paid. Meaning, who gave you the deductible back?
