The Ricoh has a real flash. The iPhone simply has a bright LED light that is not good for "real" photography. It's just good in a pinch when you need to document something...like the serial number on the back of a TV or something haha.
were you referring to the first grd and the current iphone? is the margin still large between the grd1 over the iphone 4 and soon 5?
