^That gave me an idea... You know that heat-shrink tubing that's used in some electronics wiring and whatnot? How about I shrink some of that around the housing, with just half an inch jutting out. This extra length of housing would fit through the cable stop and the shrink-wrap tubing would be pretty much fused to the housing, preventing it from being pulled further through. I think that's a fairly solid idea. Thanks.
