Your LBS can't order you a large? Jumping to the carbon frame would be awesome, but not with the Tiagra. Doesn't make sense to upgrade the frame but degrade the components. I'm glad to hear that you liked the Defy best after a test ride. The shop where I got mine only let me ride it in the parking lot so I didn't get to take it out on a proper road test.
