Thank you. "Beater" is perhaps too harsh, but this is my go everywhere bike. It's got a bunch of less-than-awesome parts (crappy plastic saddle from a '71 C. Itoh) mixed with nicer parts (Campy brake lever, Sugino AT crankset). Since the photo was taken, I've upgraded the stem and bars to these:
The frame had been drewed and rattlecanned brownish gold when I got it, so that wasn't my work. The rattlecan job looks less awesome when you get up-close, so I've been thinking about getting a nice powdercoat job. Of course, then I'd get nervous about riding it to the bar.
