The use of derogatory terms in referance to geneaology was to emphasize the way that generalizations like those of Pit Bulls can become acceptable by some. If you want a more accurate portrayal of these dogs go to the local humane society. They only put the safe dogs up for adoption but have many pit bulls, aka terriers, because so many people buy into the myths and lies.

Trying to convince someone with the attitude of rnhood of the positive aspects of the Pit Bull would likely be like trying to reason with a member of the KKK re: cultural diversity...it's worth a try but can be very challenging.
