That's OK unless it's extreme, i.e. gets in the way of the rest of life. I'm happiest if I don't skip a day or two of riding, but I don't have to ride much to be happy. Even two miles is a good distance. I don't usually ride far, anyway. But riding two miles is enjoyable and also vigorous enough to keep me in decent shape.
