No, no, you're missing the point. Wolber is 40H. Mavic is 32H. Together, we have a pair of 700c rims that will fit 40 year old English hubs!

I think if you wanna polish it up further you're gonna want something more like 1200 or higher grit sandpaper
Probably true. But if I do it at all, I'll first do the whole thing with 320 grit, then 600 grit, then brasso. Then I'll decide about 1000, 1500, 2000, &c.
