That sucks, but I don't think it's limited to certain parking lots. It happens everywhere. After multiple break-ins and car stolen right from my carport, I no longer leave anything in it I'm not willing to lose. And I usually leave the glovebox/armrest open. And I use a Club (old 1994 car).
