As a PNW surfer, I'd move to the coast of OR in a heartbeat if there was a job. Put on a wetsuit and all that scenery and vastness is yours. There's a huge beach culture in the pockets of towns along the coast. Tons of beaches for sunbathing too. OR state parks are some of the best in the country and take up a big percentage of the shoreline so there's no development.
