Hi

Ive started using an 8 speed cassette with an old shimano tourney derailleur, after removing the limiter (the H and L) screws it has enough travel to engage all 8 gears, however the chain skips under pressure when on the larger sprockets! Does anyone know what the problem is? Would a narrower 9 speed chain help solve the problem?
