Just because someone speaks up does not automatically put them in an unsafe situation. I suggest you keep that attitude in Iowa or wherever you live! Unfortunately, there are people such as yourself who do not speak up because they feel it is none of their business ( I honestly believe they are scared of the confrontation more than anything... I am not) until something happens to them and they start preaching "Why isn't someone saying or doing something?". Just because we are not Police Officers does not mean we keep our eyes and mouth shut!

I am just going to say lets leave that out of the conversation. We have different opinions on the subject and I would love to have the conversation with you privately one day but not here. I shouldn't have said anything and that's my bad.
Not a problem, as a Vet the issue of gun control is a touchy subject.

I agree once again my friend!
Thank you.

I hope the day never comes, but, if and when it does, I hope you blame your carelessness on yourself and not on the motorist. The laws we have in place are good laws and I see no point in changing them because a few that break them believe it is the safest for themselves in that particular situation. Blah, blah, blah! Once again, with this logic might as well remove the stop signs and lights all together because you are going to run them anyway.
