Well...Two months ago I purchased my first "road" bike, a Bianchi Axis(cyclocross for the bad roads and gravel roads around my house). Anyway, I was coming down off a mountain(or a hill for some of you) and at the last switchback - one mile from home - it was wet and I slid out. I'm ok except for my shoulder - having it checked tomorrow and the damage to the bike was just cosmetic - handlebar tape etc.
I'm having a fair amount of pain on the front part of my shoulder when I try and lift it - but no swelling, brusing or any other pain in my shoulder.
I'm hoping I didn't tear anything.
Just thought I'd share my first wreck - all you newbies like me - watch out for those wet turns!
