well, it was an article from bicycle guide in the early 90s, and the bikes were Mondonicos. basically he liked one of the higher end tube bikes, but disliked the highest end. and admitted he couldnt tell the difference for the other 4 bikes. they were made with different columbus tubes.

Yes I've read that article too (sorry can't remember where). It reminded me of a similar "blind" hifi test where a group of "experts" listned to a very expensive and well regarded English set up and a mid range Japanese setup. They all prefered the sound of the cheaper setup! Just goes to show we often make judgements on what we are told is "better" rather than what we actually experience!
