I ride on the Maine coast mostly. Hilly and windy some of the time. I ride my longer rides alone and do a 20 mile group ride once a week. I average around 20 mph. The roads are mostly decent but have some rough areas, but no big potholes. The bike this is going on isn't for anything but riding, when the starting point and destination are the same place.
