Sure, why not.

I didn't fold my Swift all that much, and don't recall it being any more convenient than my 700c bikes.

My guess is that the Nano will have a 3" shorter height than 700c; the fork is probably only 3" shorter as well; and 700c without front wheel vs Nano with both wheels will be about 6" shorter. That just does not sound like a big difference, and is pretty much blown away if you have a slightly larger car or a hitch rack.

There are also plenty of situations where folders are allowed, and non-folders are not -- e.g. NJ Transit trains and PATH trains during rush hour; blackout times on LIRR; Caltrains where the bike-friendly cars are full -- and the Nano is going to land in the latter category.

In terms of convenience, a folding bike is going to beat a Nano hands down. If your folder is stiff enough (e.g. Swift), the advantage narrows even further. So, I think I'll stand by my opinion.
