I like the Dawes SST AL. Its cheap enough to upgrade parts later on. Like I want red tires with deep black rims and no brakes. Between the Motobecane and the Dawes which one is more similar to a giant rapid 2 (which i have now) in terms of comfortability?

I really like the Motobecane's frame but I would hate myself if i spend all that money to later find out that my decision was not the best. And I would have to buy frame only to customize it how I want it.
