Bikes: 1966 Raleigh DL-1 Tourist, 1973 Schwinn Varsity, 1983 Raleigh Marathon, 1994 Nishiki Sport XRS

I mash, so I'm usually in the big chain ring up front. Smaller chain rings are for climbing only. All my bikes except my Schwinn Varsity can go through the whole range in the back without rubbing in the front while in the big chain ring.

All these people talk about what gear combos they have. I honestly don't know any of them, except my single speed is a 46/18.
