They claim this one "clamps down on slippery nipples" ... o_O



This one is 0.127, 0.130, and 0.136 inch. ... I think my bike is metric.


I could have another bike shop do it; I just don't want to go back to the one I got the bike from. They really are equivalent to untrained monkeys.

A bike stand is probably a good idea, to hold the bike while I work on it. Learning to do it myself is probably useful.

My prior boss (we just switched to a new one) used to own a bike shop, he says the same thing: it's a simple job and most tune-ups are done right on the bike; he only uses his truing stand when he's building a wheel.
