Another 75-100 yards South, the road opens up. At that point they painted in some fairly wide bike lane lines the day after they painted the sharrow markers. The right side of the bike lane is in the door zone but if you hang to the left part of the bike lane, you can actually be both in the bike lane and outside of the door zone.
