^ I had that happen with a Trek frameset I sold on eBay a couple of years ago. The "friend who works in a bike shop" told the buyer that a dent in the seat tube was a fatal flaw. Right. It was just buyer's remorse because he paid too much. We went back and forth over who would pay shipping to get it back to me, and I don't remember how that was resolved. I ended up hanging various components on the frame and selling it again on eBay as a complete bike. That's just the way it goes sometimes, i.e., not eBay's fault necessarily, but numbskull buyers.
