Everybody will write that they have bought better bikes for less and the truth is they probably have. I know I have many times. But I can honestly say that those smokin' deals you read about on CL actually exist and in the 300+ bikes I've bought over the years, only a couple were keepers for me. The others were flippers. Point is, those $180 deals on R1000's only come around once in awhile but its unlikely it will be your size.

This particular Felt, in the shape you state and at $500, is a decent deal for an end user. Even a flipper who parts bikes out could make money on it. Not a lot, but some.

I'm not a fan of those Alex wheels though....
