Rode the Wine Country Century (100K) on the tandem today. Perfect weather, fabulous scenery and great rest stops - no wonder this thing sells out in a few days. We averaged just over 16 mph on a course with only one real, albeit short, climb, but the longish rollers do hurt our average on the tandem. The organizers had warned about road conditions via e-mail, but the conditions didn't detract from the ride.
