Removing Shimano BB-6500 Bottom Bracket

I am trying to remove a bottom bracket. I am using a spline removal tool on the end of a long-armed torque wrench to get leverage. I can get the non-drive side cup out, but the drive side cup is stuck tight.

I am worried that if I keep at it I will strip the splines of either the cup of or the removal tool.

Short of dragging it down to the LBS, any suggestions on how to release it?
