Where did you see that it ships with Sunrace freewheel? On the web page, the spec says the cassette is
SUNRACE CSR8. That is a cassette, isn't it?

Not great for single-speed conversion unless you re-dish the wheel (I'm not up to the task), and I'd much rather have a cassette freehub that I can throw on spacers and a Kick-Ass-Cog (or Surly COD) and be able to get the chainline just spot-on.
I emailed Bikesdirect to find out what the rear wheel spacing is, as I have a couple of options for wheel replacements: Dahon rear wheels are spaced 130mm, while the Xootr Swift is 132mm. Will only cost me a little over $40 to go with either.
